BIO
After earning a degree in Biochemistry, Alison Rioux graduated from the University of Miami School of Law in 2014 and attended the Intellectual Property L.LM. program at George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Alison is a member of the Florida Bar in the United States and has in-house corporate experience, including at Royal Caribbean Ltd. (a Fortune 500 company) and Daniel J. Edelman, Inc. (the largest international public relations company), negotiating multi-million-dollar contracts.
Alison has over 10 years' experience drafting and negotiating various contracts. In addition to her business contract experience, she gained intellectual property and licensing experience while working for the technology transfer offices at both the University of Florida and the University of Miami.
Alison keeps abreast of current topics by providing freelance editing and consulting for scientific and legal textbooks and journal articles. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, photography, and brewing her own beer and cider.
